DIS ‘OK’ displayed in red with engine running

I have not seen this before, and ‘OK’ displayed in red isn’t in my Owners’ Manual (at least, I couldn’t find it).

I noticed it this evening in a short journey; the car was functioning normally. I turned off the ignition and removed the key a couple of times but the issue persists.
Car goes through the normal checks, displays ‘OK’ in yellow (orange), then when I start the engine, the ‘OK’ message turns red, and remained like this whilst driving.

Can anyone advise please?

Thank you, Andrew

My project car does this - and on other occasions, yellow and orange backlighting to the upper and lower halves on but no characters, or else scrolling red lines on a dark background, or a momentary mpg reading with external temperature (that has frozen the entire journey time). And then the next day back to normal again. As I've got a spare Tdi non-DIS cluster in the garage, is this something that one would normally swap over with a bit of tinkering to resolve SKC and mileage readings, Tom?

Correct.

Is there any urgent need for action?
I don't imagine so. The cluster failing altogether seems unlikely, though further display faults like Robin describes could appear.

Thank you Tom. I will get in touch.
