Do you use it as daily car?

Evening Erling,

Fully agree as these really are one of the best looking wheel option for the A2. Personal opinion of course as we’re all different.

Kind regards,

Tom

What are they from/called Tom?

Thanks
Steve

Evening Steve,

The wheels are from the A8 D2 from memory. They are 5x112 PDC so adapters required. They’re also forged so plenty strong enough to have drilled to 5x100 PDC but spacers will be required as they’re ET42. I’ll come back to you shortly once I’ve found the link from the Audi wheel website.

There is a set available on eBay but the seller won’t ship to the UK. I was quite interested in purchasing them a couple of months the ago.

Edit: Here you go Steve @Cenick:

Which six speed did you go for @Menno ? You may have mentioned it previously but I can’t recall.

Those wheels really suit the car!
Gearbox is a PTW also the DMF is ditched and replaced with a SMF from an AMF.....(WTF ?)
It runs soooo sweet now, and indeed looking stunning too with the lightweight, forged A8 D2 wheels (re-drilled to 5X100, Et 42, no spacers, no rubbing).

Be careful, Stay safe!

Battersea is my daily driver, and I have a tiny suspicion that these wonderful little cars are much happier when they are used regularly.

Now in my second year of ownership the driving experience seems to get better and better. There is a fair old list of things in the waiting room, but nothing that's too pressing. Rear axle bushes, brakes and so on. A visit to Infinity exhausts might be on the cards, but that's just a suspicion at the mo.
