Does anyone have VCDS near Cheltenham?

The ‘glow plug’ light started flashing whilst driving earlier, then went out. On the return journey (circa 50 miles) it started flashing again after about 25 miles and has continued doing so. It’s now flashing continuously but the car seems to be running ok.

I’d like to try and scan ASAP as I’ve still got the option (just) if letting the insurers have it post bump.
 
Cleaning the switch contacts may work ultimately replacing the switch and any out bulbs is the answer. Not too difficult once you drop the drivers side storage panel ( hidden bolt above the right foot guide ) BUT there are a lot of sharp edges up there that want to take lumps out of you so wear thick gloves. Easiest on your back with the seat all the way backwards, looking up at the switch. Go for a good quality replacement one, even then a lot of OEM quality ones are now DOA.
