Door Cracks above hinge repair??? Help??

Peter Gilder Audi in Sheffield have put a warranty claim to Audi for my door repairs?? They have told me that Audi don't offer a good will repair and so they will not carry out the work. Unless I pay for it?

Any ideas what do I need to do?:confused:

Gilders are probably the sh1ttest dealers around for messing customers about - I've been down this route before with them and they did the repair FOC in the end!

I know where you live! Scary. No I'm not stalking you, I recently carried out some work on the factory at the end of your road, and saw you lovely car parked up.

I too have the cracks and have not got around to seeing about it being repaired.

So Maybe we can hit Gilders with twice the power, and Mikes help, and get it sorted in one go.

I'm sure I read about someone on here who had had their hinges done by Gilders!

What info do you need Mike?

Keep in touch with Paul (R8SMV) and when he gets the nod, pile in together!

Actually, just let Gilders know that you want the door repair doing beforehand, so that they have the repair kits ready. I would imagine that once they have been put right over Pauls case by head office, they'll sort you out without further input from me.

I will let you know when i get the nod from Gilders. My car is going in for a new horn will be booking them at the same time all being well.

Yes I do live near that factory my missus drives the car day 2day so i can only imagine it was filthy!! when you saw it.:rolleyes:
