Door micro switch replacement source.

Hi All.
Has anyone found a source of replacement door lock micro switches. The ones I tried from eBay didn’t fit my a2 door locks.

what issues are you getting? it may not be the microswitches

Now to some interesting stuff got to the bottom of the issue with the car locking itself.


I have previously changed the CCCU which stopped the lock cycling continually and draining the battery this was masking this issue where none of the features below worked and as soon as I sat in the car the drivers door would lock itself which could only be avoided if I opened the front passenger door or tailgate. So I took off the door card and inner panel could see the lock but could not be easily accessed. So I took off the glass and frame by removing the rubber seal around the frame and removed...

Not sure what you mean by metal tag to be honest. There's a clip to secure the switch in place?

I posted the link to the complete door latch, not the micro switch.
On 2 of my cars the plastic covering in the latch was breaking up and making the door stiff to open and close, they break up after 20 odd years of use. The new ones are super smooth when replaced, so for £24 it’s so much easier.
With the 2 side by side there’s no difference in quality as far as I can see, it’s not just the switch that wears, it’s everything.
So much easier to swap rather than faff about in the cold weather 😀
 
With the thread being about micro switches that's what threw me but I agree it's probably the best pound for pound for the majority to reply the assembly especially if paying for labour.

Is the one you listed for the rear? I was under the impression it's A4 B7 ones that fit the fronts?
