Door unlocking fault

An intermittent fault when unlocking the car, the drivers door does not unlock all the others do, when in this state the lock symbol comes on on the manual locking switch on the drivers door. you have to use the inside door handle to get it to open. The drivers door lock has been replaced.

Check for loose, broken or damp wiring. If all OK looks like the door control module as you have already replaced the drivers door lock - assuming this was a good part. I now wrap some tape around the leads below the plugs and when inserted into the controller pass the tail of the tape up the outside of the controller to ensure all connections stay tight.
