Double din air con panel help!

Hi all, after some help this afternoon if possible!

I’ve pulled and pushed, cussed, looked on the forum and have now almost given up

I am stuck trying to get out the aircon panel out, I have the radio out and put my hands behind the back of the unit but it’s not budging! Are the double din the same as the single din units removal wise or am I missing something here?

It could be that the double dash cradle is getting in the way and stopping me getting enough force on it!
 
If you have the double din out you should now have good access to remove the climate panel. It is only held in with little clips. You could try placing something on the rear face of the panel on one end and give it a tap to see if that works. If the panel is pushed back into the dash with one hand and pushed forwards out the dash with your other that can sometimes release it due to it being off center.
 
The one in my breaker was a pig also. Flat headed screwdrivers under the bit of the cradle that goes over the top of it, to push the spring clips back in should help, while continuing to tug from the back. You can see the clip locations on pictures of the back of any A2 climate unit, they're all the same apart from the fascia.
