drive shaft nut new vs old

Has anyone a picture of how the drive shaft nut looks upon removal?
I could benefit from knowing if my shafts are still fused in but dont want to find out they are and have to fit new nuts and then when i do get the shafts sorted have to fit another pair of new nuts. Sure years ago i re used them not knowing they were single use!

the nuts are barked and defo single use, undoing the nut causes the bark to be bent back on itself, trying to bend the bark results in it breaking off
