Driver Side Window

My Driver Side window has stopped working today, the passenger window works ok from both drivers and passenger switches. I tried checking the fuse for the right and left doors and they are both fine so I assume it could be the switch but what should I check now?

Use the key in the drivers door, hold it turned in the lock position and it will close the window, and hold it in the open position it will open, this usually points to the switches.

There is also the possibility of broken wires.

I tried using the key to open the drivers window and it doesn't work. Do i need to buy a new switch?

I also noted that in taking out the fuses for the right and left doors the passenger window still worked from both switches!! What fuse controls the window mechanism?
