Not sure it is Torx, check the number of splines. Torx has 6. Might be a 12 point. Don't try with a torx if it's 12, you'll fail, and do damage.

I agree it doesnt seem to be Torx,but not sure what it is , yes want to get the right tool before I do some damage .

One of these, like a a torx bit but 12 points instead of 6, sometimes called triple square or correctly XZN, but more commonly called spline (wrongly I gather).
