Drivers seat feels collapsed?

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for this? The drivers seat of my newly acquired petrol feels like it's a little collapsed under my left butt cheek! I know the seats were changed by the previous owner (I believe it originally had leather in) and now it has fabric ones. The seats look in good condition, I can't see or feel anything obvious from poking around the foam around the base. But overall it feels like i'm sitting at a bit of a tilt (left side down). It isn't very comfortable and my back feels a little twisted on long journeys!

Anyone had anything similar? Or should I just go about trying to find a replacement seat?

Thanks!

Hello,

Could one cheek be riding higher?😆

Have you had time to check the 4 fixing points that bolt the seat frame to the vehicle have been secured correctly.

If they have it sounds like the seat cushion has done something odd.

I'll go take some photos of the seat runners for you to compare

Anything is possible! But I didn't get this feeling in my previous TDI A2.

I had a brief look underneath and all looked like it was in about right, it looked pretty impossible to get it wrong without really making a mess.

I will compare it better in the light to the passenger side but I couldn't see anything wrong

Yeah, there's not a lot to go wrong. It'll be something simple.
Plus you have experience of working on cars. You'll get to the bottom of it, 🤣 (an attempt to humour the sit-u-ation) I'll stop now.....
Here's those photos

Link to 7zap lower seat cushion exploded parts diagram.

37 looks like it fixes to 22 and in turn is held to the seat frame by 26? That's how I interpret the diagram but have no experience of dismantling seats. The only thing I know is if your taking them out the car disconnect the battery 10 minute before you unplug the air bag connectors.

Good luck!

:) 👍
