Drivers window not working

hi peeps

yesterday morning my o/s/f window decided to stop working, its in the up position, when pressing the button i get nothing !!, is there a fuse or something just for this window ? i have noticed thanks to the great british weather that , when raining the wipers push the rain up over the door and if the window is slighty open it drips down onto the buttons? anybody any ideas please ? im going to look at removing the door panel/trim, how easy a job is it ? any special tools req ?

Thank you for the information, ive removed the trim panel, fiddled about with the window switch and tried by passing the switch with no luck, then just as i was about to give up, the window worked LOL, think it was the switch alot found dust and dirt in there.
so alls well again and my headache from my wife moaning should pass now !!:)

Happy A2 time again..:D
