Drivers Window up and down

Hi My drivers window winds down every time. One touch and holding the switch. When I raise it again, it hesitates and goes back down, like it thinks somethings trapped in there. In then takes a few goes to get it up as it were. Sorry to be a pane, this isn't a wind-up, but wondered if anyone had encountered this and I can fix it before it gets stuck down. Can't think of anymore window puns either. :)

Unless there is something knackered in the regulator within the door, the likely solution is to give the tracks a good clean and then light lubrication with the window open. One of mine does this occasionally.

Hope that this is clear enough - I wanted to keep it glassy.

Sorry, not sorry (!)

I'll be completely transparent about this, I can't help.
Mac.

I had a similar issue. It was the cable. Have a look at this thread, specifically my summary.
Thats great, thanks, I will take an in depth look when I have time. For now, I will clean the runners and go from there. There is no crunching noise at all, and the window is smooth in its operation. But a complete used frame etc would appear to be solution!
