ECU Coding

I have a 1.4TDi AMF engine and have been using my VCDS cable to have a look at stuff.

On the control module info it states the coding is 00005

But under the info that pops up from VCDS it states it should be 00002.

Can someone else with the same engine confirm this?

I have the same engine and can confirm that the coding for module 01 is 00002.
What other options does the 00005 code represent?

My 2001 TDi with AMF engine is also coded 00002

I have no idea but mine states 00005.

Its the sum of all the options. so 00002 is Front wheel drive and 00003 is all wheel drive. So I can only assume someone at some point has put that in

Could it be something to do with a stealth remap?

What about a remap - would that change the coding of the ECU?

Can allthe relevant options be found in the ELSAWIN progam?
