End of the social year evening meal 2017

Hi all thanks for adding your names---the time has changed slightly its now 7.30 at the table

So far i have these names down

totals 36 people

So please let me know if your no longer attending. Looking forward to seeing you all ---tables are booked for 7.30pm. There is always the inevitable chat around the cars so i suggest 6.30pm in the car park. Those that haven't been before the Duet cuisine restaurant is in the Fort Dunlop site that has a big secure car park--if you go to the far end and park close to the front looking at the fort dunlop building.
If you wish to do some retail therapy before the meal there is a retail park very close just down the road. There is the ever popular German christmas market in town.

Unfortunately I’m laid up in bed with a nasty dose of the flu, sweating, shivering, sore throat, headache and cough, so I won’t make it today to the end of year social.
I was looking forward to seeing some new faces, but it’s totally impractical to attempt to come.
Nobody would thank me if I spread it around either.
If there’s any cost to pay can someone please let me know?

If there are any attendees loitering in the car park we have sheltered from the cold in the hotel bar at the travelodge if you want to join us. Cheers Mike
 
Great night last night.
Great food as usual.
Great turnout.
Great to meet old faces and new ones too.
Throat sore from chatting.

Looking forward to our first social next year.

Hopefully we will have a great turnout for all of them too.

Thanks to everyone that came last night it was great to see you all and enjoy your company and conversations. But they really need to put heaters in the car park or I need to bring a coat ! So we missed to chat around the cars in favour of the warmth of the bar.
So that ends this years socials and it’s been a pleasure organising the events and enjoying the company of you all - next years socials are looking busy with some shows swapping dates and new locations. We have some new shows to go to so I’ll post up a new thread with the events and dates on quite soon.

I’d like to add our thanks to everyone for making last night a really great fun-filled evening with friends /family. A fantastic turnout which is a credit to everyone and Mike and Yvonne’s organisation. A shame that the dreaded Winter flu kept some away, you were missed.

Last nights end of year social was a great showcase to end this years season. A massive thank you to Mike and Yvonne, A2Steve and Hilary for an amazing 2017 social scene. We have taken away some wonderful memories from this year and made many new friends as well as having had the pleasure of being in the company of those we know and love so well.

We are really looking forward to next years events and catching up with you all once again. Thanks A2OC family for a great year.
