Engine struggle

Hi everyone.
It has been some time now that my AUA A2 kind of chokes/stutter when it is on first gear and you dont give a little gas to take the revs up to 1k, not only when taking of but even when rrolling on a flat surface. And epc light comes on.

throttle body dirty? EGR failure? bad coil? spark plugs? is it misfiring? Do you have an error code corresponding to the problem? etc.?

Cleaned MAP sensor. Which maight be faulty since the code on vcds is for that again. Waiting on a new one to change it. Than going to clean the throttle body. No egr or throttle body codes during scan. Spark plugs new, no misfires on any cylinder.

Apparently (I've not tried it myself), spray soapy water onto the tubing - you can see bubbles if there is a leak.

There won't be any bubbles because it will be under vacuum, not pressure.

Just a thought, if you can get a good lather, maybe using kids bubble stuff, you'd see the bubbles sucked in? Mac.

Spray some lighter gas around the suspected area and listen for increase in engine revs if the gas is sucked it increase engine revs
Alternatively use a smoke test but you need the machine to generate the smoke-I borrowed one but found the propane gas check just as good
The AUA and BBY engines are susceptible to air leaks which cause all sorts of bad running

I’ve seen this done with carb cleaner as well. The engine picks up when the fuel air mix is enriched.

i will try the propane gas firstly. Just scanned the car now and new fault codes apeared.
