EPC issue, and other problem

Hi Guys,

I have an Audi A2 1.4 petrol from 2001, and sometimes on the dash appears the EPC light, and the car woun`t rev on throttleing, and the engine is dying. After 2-3 restarts it will function normally again, but sometimes the EPC light will remain on the dash, and sometimes it dissappears.

I have put it on VCDS and got the following error codes:

Address 01: Engine Labels: 036-906-034-APE.lbl
Part No: 036 906 034 Q

17589 - Linear O2 Sensor; Reference Voltage
P1181 - 35-10 - Open Circuit - Intermittent
Readiness: 0010 0000

Oxygen sensor can be cleaned, or should I change it? Does it have 2 oxygen sonsors, one before and one after the catalityc converter, or just one?
What can cause the error "P1504 - 35-10 - Leak Detected - Intermittent" on the intake air system? I have prooved the intake hose and I don`t see any leaks on it.

The other problem is with the central locking system. I open the doors with the remote key, and sometimes after 10-15 seconds it shuts automaticly every door by himself, even when I`m not sitting in the car and the engine is not running, and the key is not in the car.

I`ve got following errors in VCDS:

Does anyone can help me regarding these issues?

Hi Guys,

I have changed the Oxygen sonsor, and that error dissappeared, but I`ve got another one now:
17989/P1581/005505 - Throttle Actuator (J338): Basic Setting Not Performed

I have tried with VCDS to make the basic setting, but at the Basic Setting Status by me it changes from ADP Run to ERROR after 3 seconds, and I can not perform the basic setting.
What else should I try?

What's the state of your battery?
I have to check it once I get home, because I am at work right now. I know that the voltage should be at least 11,5V.
I have found now a video from RossTech where it shows how to do the basic setting for the throttle body (
) There are 2 ways, one for cable actuated throttle body(Group 098), and one for electrical one(Group 060).
I have tried with Group 060, but I dont have in VCDS this ON/OFF/Next button.
How do I know if my throttle body is electrical or cable actuated?

Which version of vcds do you use? The free version cannot perform TBA, throttle body adaptation. You need at least the registered version which will cost $99.
