Had my A2 now for a week and I've had to leave it with the dealer
I had an intermittent EPC light (amongst others) from day one. When I bought it I checked the history and it was serviced 10k ago, but after checking , I noticed that it hadn't been serviced for 2 & half years!! So I'd decided that a full service was in order anyway.
It's had a few good runs and since the 3rd day there have been no warnign lights at all, so I thought all was well now it had a few decent runs. However, after work yesterday, the EPC was back on and I had no brakes. Couldn't hardly press the pedal at all - I had to apply my whole 15 stone to press the pedal about 1/2 an inch! This did clear after about 1 mile and the brakes went ok, but the engine was racing and the revs were up and down when idling. Oh, and the alarm keeps going off too.
So, needing this done quickly, I've left it with the dealer for diagnosis & full service.
Any ideas what could be causing this strange behaviour?? Would be good to know what sort of bill I should expect before the dealer gives me the good news!
