Error Code 00493 ABS ESP sensor unit G419 Faulty

I should have one of those here, and I only remove parts that don't have faults (It's a pointless exercise).

"after replacement of the sensor you will need to Perform Basic Setting for ESP-Sensor Unit (G419)with a vag com or similar scantool"
Though I guess if it's a spare part off an A2 this would not necessarily require to be done as it will come with the correct settings, this would only need to be done if it was a new part?

I changed the early yaw sensor on my Jaipur last month and it was just plug and play.

It's been fine the last couple of weeks, no warning lights coming on even at that same location that it started happening.

Well, this is still happening and with more frequency now. I wonder if it has anything to do with the weather?
It hardly happened at all during the winter and I have changed the summer tyre and used the winter tyres again recently due to having my summer wheels refurbished.
Honestly, I think that it only happens during warm weather and happening with greater frequency when its hot.
Yes same here in this hot weather intermittent brake warning lights coming on after going over bumps but usually dusty conditions too..I'm thinking a good car wash specially around wheel areas might also do the trick.

Also I think I'll plug in my fault code scanner to erase it to see if it does the trick

Yes, best to find out which sensor is causing the problem. Could be brakes, wheel sensors or ABS Controller, or steering angle sensor, etc.
With the dash side indicator person in, you have no ABS, maybe no ESP.
Mac.
