ESP Kicking in on right hand bends

Late last year I had a knock on the N/S front wheel where my car slid at low speed and hit the kerb side on. After repair it has been spot on, better than before the accident down to a steering fluid change :)

However this last week I have noticed on certain tight right bends and roundabouts unless I'm completely off the accelerator, the ESP warning light will come on and I can hear the N/S front wheel "correcting" it's self. Does anyone know what this could be? I have never experienced it in the 4 years I have had the car.

Many Thanks

Scott

I'd suggest a loose, or faulty ABS sensor? Or it could be the steering positioning sensor dirty? Might be worth getting someone to scan your ECU for any fault codes.

as above i would say.
but in very rare cases it can be a difference in the tyre tread depth. if one tyre is very worn and the other is not the wheels turn at different rates causing it to think its loosing grip and cut power. but i doubt that would be it.....but you never know as it can happen!

It will almost certainly be the abs cable that has chaffed through, mine did the same and is stumped the Audi dealer for a while till spotted, once cable changed no further problems.
Cheers
Mike
