Anyone had trouble with same codes and any cures?

Been getting a few 17550 Load Calculation Cross Check Lower limit exceeded P1142 intermitent
And separately 16786 - EGR System Excessive Flow P0402

Over time I have done everything recommended on Ross tech -
Cleaned EGR valve (and tried a replacement), Cleaned Throttle body and done the adaption, replaced MAP sensor, checked hoses, Dismantled and cleaned throttle pedal,
Through all this the car seems to run fine and starts first time. When the lights come up their is no apparent change in how the car is running.
Did a long run over 100 miles a few days ago and no warning lights everything good.
Then drove today and within yards the warning lights came on - EPC and yellow Engine light. Temperature was about 15deg on long run and 13deg today.

Cleared the codes but now within about 0.5 miles I keep getting (EPC and yellow engine light)
Work Shop Code: WSC 021381
Fault Found:16407 - Bank 2: Camshaft B (Exhaust): Position Actuator Malfunction
P0023 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Looking on the forums I can't find anything very specific to look at. I'm suspecting that this code maybe misleading.
Can anyone with experience of these codes comment on this...its driving me nuts!
P.S. I can keep driving with warning lights on and the car seems fine but I'd like to fix it so that any new warnings are apparent whilst driving.

What scan tool did you use please?
Mac.

Hmm there is no Bank 2 on the AUA/BBY. Might be worth checking all connectors to the ECU.

Hi Mac, I'm using a licenced version of VCDS light. Just been out for a 10 mile drive with no problems at all so I think it is something minor just on the limit or as J says, maybe a bad connection on the ECU so I think I will have a poke about in there as I have not been in there yet.

Should be OK then. Make a note of the .cbl/.lbl that is shown top left of screen.
Mac.

Hi Mac, sorry to be thick, which screen are you talking about and where would I find that?
This one:

The file name will be different though.
Mac.

That is the correct label file, (.lbl), for your engine, but the copy of that file I have does not contain any reference to Bank 2, and the engine doesn't, to my knowledge, have variable valve timing, which would require a camshaft actuator.
I'm wondering if the .lbl file is corrupted?
Could you look in the VCDS label folder, and copy 036-906-034-APE.LBL, and PM it to me. You'll need to change the file type from .LBL to .txt to attach it to a PM.
I'll compare it to mine, and come back on here.
I think something very odd is going on.
Happy Christmas.

Hi Mac, thanks for your help on this. My impression is that it seems to be referencing something that this car does not have. I'll have a dig about tomorrow and see if I can find the file. I'm no expert but I am keen to try. And learn something which is half the fun😉

Yes, the faults seem to be for functions your engine does not have.
I think I'm wrong to blame the label file though, as the fault descriptions don't come from that file, so forget that suggestion.
Something within vcds is corrupt, but I have no idea where the problem is, sorry. Maybe best bet is contact Ross-Tech support, they're very helpful. My guesses? Not so much.
Mac
