Finally done a scan

Hi All,

Finally got around to doing a scan:

Majority of faults relate to central locking of which none of the doors locks work, interior lights do come on off remote, hazards flash when remote pressed, only boot opened recognised on the dashboard display and does work off the fob.

Fault codes are

From 46 Convenience Control Channel

01336 - J386 Drivers Side Door Module Sporadic - No Comm - Code now gone?
01332 - J387 Passengers Side Door Module Sporadic - No Comm - Code now gone?
01561 - Rear Left Door doesnt lock
01562 - Rear Right Door doesnt lock
01559 - Drivers Door doesnt deadlock
01560 - Passenger Door doesnt deadlock

Also

01314 - Ecm no comms - Gone now CCM recoded?
01330 - J393 no Comm - again code has gone?

Another strange one: only code showing on 01 Engine

17962 - J338 Basic settings not met

Have tried to run the setting but keeps coming up as error?

Guudance please, door modules and locks (microswitches?) not one door is registering on the dash when openened, fuel filler cap not opening

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Which scanner did you use to read the fault codes?
VCDS is recommended as others may not pick up all of the information.

This thread suggests checking the battery voltage for code 01336.
Code 01332 could be due to broken connections in the wiring to the passenger door

The VCDS website has details on fault codes 01561, 01562, 01559 & 01560.

Hi,

Sorry you have had little response and thought I would give your thread a bump. You posted at a busy period and it may have been lost in the traffic and/or everyone is flummoxed by the ridicous number of of door errors. You really need Tom(@timmus) but he is quiet just lately, probably occupied with his other interest of wiring recording studios.

A couple of questions to keep things moving.

  1. Was the scan done with the 'new' AF CCCU installed?
  2. Can you expand on the repeated phrase "Code now gone?"?

Hope someone with some experience/expertise (not me!) replies.

Andy

Had very similar codes with old CCCU for doors and alarm as well as alarm panicking and being set off at random, after swapping it out for replacement CCCU it is working a treat.

Original CCCU was an AF model too which are supposed to be reliable...

I'd say it is very unlikely for all the doors to have faults - noticed on my old Q model CCCU the relays give out which was why doors would not lock/unlock.
