Fitted Thule roof rack to Open Sky A2

Here are the pictures of the fitted "not for Open Sky" Thule roof rack system.

As long as you kick the two feet out slightly you can keep the basepad at an angle and thus no part of that touches the glass... It was futted thus by the Thule guy at www.roofrack.co.uk and he was happy with it doing this. You just have to remember NOT to open the sunroof... but you are really daft if you forget about it I should think!

Maye you can remove the fuse when the roofbar is mounted. That would make sure the roof cannot be opened.

hi,

i'm sure that here in germany this is not permitted - no insurance if you do it and then have an accident.....and they're serious.

the reason given was the open sky system....bit silly if you ask me, but there you are....
