Not trying to teach you to suck eggs but…..
I was fitting a new refurbished wiper today…
1. The old wiper has been on probably 20+ years and it is likely seized on the spline (beyond the thread) so therefore, spray lots of anti seize spray, it will not budge happily without
2. When fitting the refurbished wiper… do not over tighten (like I did) as you will likely break the wiper area that allows you to fit/tighten the nut.
