Hi, My drivers side mirror housing has broken off the bracket. Annoyingly all was well (ish) when I bought the car but the mirrors wouldnt fold. I put some WD40 in the gap and was very gentry moving back and forth to free them up when something sheared and the mirror body came away and was held on by the wire.
How can I fix this, im not worried about keeping them movable just secure and tidy. Can I get into the houseing and bolt it down into the bracket, or a sleft tapper or two? Any links to diagrams of pictures on the internals would be great as its all a bit fragile so ill only get 1 got at it I suspect.
