Boring Boring... Golf designers must be sleeping so easy after seeing Astra and Focus. Focus has a fat bloated rear, strange proportions, a window line at the back that does not seem to speak to rear as the current car does excellently and those wheel arches are WAY too big... As on A2 the wheelarch extension are supposed to make a tall car look lower (ie wheels bigger). But these oversized versions makes the Focus body look too small!!!
I love that line on the current car that goes from the rear lights around the back and around the other side - best viewed on 3 door... C-max front... less fussy than Astra but still horrid... Astra by far the ugliest design of the three... OK dash - even with Volvo joystick gearlever! Golf best looking, cleanest design, nice... inside and out... lets just hope they have an aluminium trim option ala Astra as well...
Give me a Golf 5 any day!
