Front brake hoses and rear solid brake lines

Have a 1.4 tdi sport 2004 with rear drums.
I want to replace both the front flexible hoses and also both solid rear brake lines (due to an advisory of corrosion ) and full fluid replacement.
Having a couple of issues, and queries and would be most grateful for input:-
FRONT FLEXI’s - I thought sourcing these would be easy , but the aftermarket adverts seem all over the place with lengths etc even though various sites say various sizes will fit!
I measured mine roughly and seem to be in the region of 530 mm (approx) .
Has anybody replaced theirs on a similar model and be kind enough to supply an Audi ref and price, or a link to an good/reasonably priced aftermarket alternative hose that was correct length, price?, and did they come with new washers and banjo bolt? Please.

REAR SOLID BRAKE LINES (both sides)
Again anybody done this on similar model? Is it an easy task?? Was thinking of getting the pre shaped Audi ones. Does anyone have a part number for these? And do they come with the flexis attached? Or is that a separate item/part number.

Lastly, suggestions for the correct grade/make or aftermarket alternative of BRAKE FLUID ?, as I will do a full fluid replacement whilst I am at it .

Very many thanks in advance.

Hi @disting,

A couple of part diagrams for you to peruse.

Front Brakes

Rear Brakes

You should bookmark this useful site for future reference.

I would double check the part VIN number matches your A2.

I will try and help if you want further help with these diagrams, just ask.

Hi, I replaced the solid brake lines on my project 2001 tdi about 6 months ago, it wasn't too difficult. I bought Audi original parts, not expensive, surprisingly. The longer pipe looked like I had the wrong part initially as the shape didn't look right, but once clicked into the plastic clips it was fine. Sorry don't have part numbers, but they should find them with your reg easily. Cheers

I can do you front flexy pipes in braided stainless for a sensible price
Hi Ian.
Thanks very much indeed for the offer.
I am currently on a long and much needed total car ‘essentials’ overhaul at the moment and so just trying to keep things standard at the moment. However, like painting the Humber bridge- when I get to the end I intend to start over again, doing the ‘nice to have’ improvements and upgrades . So at that point I may give you a shout if that’s ok. ?
Many thanks again

Yes please Keith.
That would be great. Thanks

The first 2 lines are the clips /springs that retain the front hoses

Brilliant Keith,
thanks a lot.
Sorry to be a nuisance but What was the length of the front hoses please ? And did they come with the banjo bolt and 2 copper washers included?

Those 2 are the hoses that join the rear pipes on the rear axle, I will have to look at the front hoses as I’ve bought these but from AUTODOC in Germany in preparation for full brake refurbishment hopefully get rid of premature disk failure/warping issues.

Ok many thanks again . Been most helpful

I have just replaced the front hoses on my 2004 TDi90. If you search " Febi Bilstein 29654 P" on ebay and find seller motorseamus then you will find them at a good price, exactly as the original and includes the two copper washers. I think they are excellent!

Called today to place order at TPS Norwich and unfortunately fell at first hurdle there -as TPS Norwich insist on ‘trade only’ sales.
I am aware that some others not so strict , and wondering which TPS you used for order and whether trade account required.
