Front Bumper Assembly

Hello, I have been hearing rattling noises ever since I had a full service done over a year ago, and I've just looked under the front of the car and it looks like part of the Bumper assembly is not screwed to the car sub frame. Can anyone tell me the size of the screws please? They look like self tapping screws from the vague images I've seen on line but can't find any info on the specs. Thanks for any help. Paul

The rear underside edge of the front bumper screws into the front edge of the engine undertray that should be there - prime suspect for a loose front bumper would be that the garage didn't put the undertray back after the service.

That might not necessarily be the cause of the rattling though. Test the rear (pointy) corners of the bonnet, the locating lugs underneath them sit in plastic cups that often rattle in their metal mounts. You can pad out the gaps between plastic and metal with pieces of cut-up plastic card e.g. an old shop loyalty card.

Thank you for you help. I will get a couple of pictures tomorrow and post. I know that there are screws missing, but I don't know the type or size of the screws.

I was a bit delayed getting these pictures here and would appreciate it if anyone can tell me what's missing? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with missing undertrays causing rattling noises. Failed droplinks will cause a rattling noise over bumps, @Proghound already mentioned the bonnet rattle option. You can test this by lifting the pointy corners of the bonnet, gap/play will be obvious.
