Changed a heater hose today and drained off as much of the old watered-down coolant as I could via the temperature sensor in the bottom radiator hose. I filled with new coolant via the expansion tank, and ran the engine up to temperature with the cap off and the heater on maximum - all seemed OK, no leaks, level steady and no bubbles or burping. However, when driving, I’m still getting occasional coolant warnings and the heater isn’t blowing hot. Assume there’s air trapped somewhere.
Are there any coolant bleed valves on the FSI?
