FSI slow to rev

@pfjohnnyt
So still do not see a confirmation that a VAG specific scanner has been used and scan result posted here. People are willing to help you but you have to help us first.
to my knowledge the last scan unit used was done on a VAG unit at a VW / Mercedes dealership of which i was present, but i will call him on Monday and confirm that for you.

sorry if i have upset you talking about this matter? i was merely asking for help on the forum from other owners who clearly went through these symptoms, that's how people learn in my long mechanical experience?
correct me if I'm wrong ? just texts can sometimes be read with different meanings ? I'm 60 years of age not 16 just incase you think I'm some kid wasting your time.
i found the way the your imput was written a bit offensive to be honest.

I am quite happy to meet halfway between your location and mine, or I can come to you.. VCDS scan's got to be worth a try ...
Mac.

That's fine, I'll drop you a PM with my contact details.
There are quite a few members that would make the same offer as me.
Some posts can come over in a way the member posting it did not intend. Most posts are made on the fly, as a thread like this is just like a face to face, and the content is more important than the presentation, (opposite to politicians).
We just want to get your A2 sorted. See you soon, but get the healing done first.
Mac.

I am pleased for you well done and thanks for posting. I think this N80 has flown under the radar in the past and proving by several posts to be unexpected miraculous cure. Now FSI with poor acceleration = check N80.

Andy
Hello Andy,

and what is the full name of this N80 valve?
I will call my local Audi dealership to find out its availability and price yet from my experience I am concerned that they might just confuse the parts - N80 as such

Hello Andy,

and whst is the part number of this N80 valve OR what is its function and where isit situated on an engine?

Thank you,
Andrei

Every few months, I scratch my head and have another go at fixing my A2 and at last, it's paid off.
I've finally fixed the last of the issues.
The air leak that couldn't be found even with a smoke machine was the N80 valve!!

The VCDS test on the valve made it 'tick' as it opened and closed but clearly it wasn't sealing.
The old one could be 'sucked through'.
I tried blowing and sucking through the new £20 Bosch valve (0280142347) and it doesn't pass air.

No hesitation now when pulling away and pulls strongly all the way through the revs.
Absolutely delighted.
Hello,

and what is this N80 valve for or what is its part number?

Thanks,
Andrei
