G28(crank sensor) no signal fault 1.4tdi

Hi all. I know I’ve not got a a2. But just after help. Got a ibiza 1.4tdi bms engine. the car got a g28 (crank sensor) fault.16706/P0322/000802 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28): No Signal
Car idles at 1.2k and takes 5-10 seconds of cranking before starting. Glow plug light flashing. Changed sensor twice, Changed loom and Still the same. Reading 5 v from pin 1, pin 2 is earth and pin 3 reading 5v. Any advice on what to check next? Or if any of you’ve have a problem like this before. Cheers

Have you checked the timing?

A couple of observations on crank and cam sensors which may help your troubleshooting -
Don't know if they are connected but -
Long cranking times when starting usually indicate a faulty cam position sensor.
If the timing is way out - either wrongly set when changing the cambelt or the belt has jumped a tooth or two, the crank and cam sensor signals become out of sync and often the engine won't start at all.
If it's just a few degrees out, it may start if the cam sensor is unplugged.
