My gearbox is on its way out and Im not sure If I should get a recon box or have my gearbox reconditioned or just buy a used gear box, I have a 1.6 fsi, does the 1.4 gearbox have the same gearing and fitment as the fsi??
been told by 2 mechanics and the gears are realy loud, especialy when I change down a gear or just roll in gear with foot on the clutch, clutch bearing noisey aswell
