Rear rubber boot strap

If I recall correctly the rear glass treatment was never available as an accessory, but was "supposed" to be reapplied every service and pretty sure is was about £20 on the bill. Needless to say few took up their "generous" offer and Audi stopped suggesting it shortly after.

Well it actually was available for a short time - and I still have one in stock. P/N 00A 096 330 020

Afternoon all,

Not that it’ll might be to everyone’s taste but I beleive there was an option for hard fitted blinds in the rear of the vehicle. Ive secured the rear door blinds but never seen the tailgate blind.

Kind regards,

Tom

I believe you mean the item pictured here, a net-type sunscreen fitted to the tailgate.

There is also this, which according to some more searching, appears to be mounted behind the front seats and secured to the seat rails and somewhere on the headliner.

Seller writes that their car did not come with the required fittings.

Lastly, the maybe-not-quite-an-accessory aluminium gear knob that could only be ordered on top of the DE S-Line Plus package (8L0711141AN3Q7, still available at ~250€) if that counts.

How about
TV and Teletext function must be combined with Satellite
navigation system Plus (price and weight quoted does not
include this item)

Cost in 2005 was £705 inc vat and the Satellite navigation system Plus cost £2,175 making a grand total of £2,880 (about £4,500 in today's money)

And how many people paid £1,585 for an exclusive A2 colour (but only colours available elsewhere in the Audi range)

I wonder if this is the only item that is also completely useless these days?
At least in DE there is no more analogue broadcast this would be able to receive, is it the same in the UK?
(Though I've gotta say, if money was of no concern, how cool would it have been in ~2001 to be able to watch TV in your small hatchback?! ?)

For the Exclusive paint colours, I suppose it's more than you'd expect. If looking through european classifieds, you'll stumble upon weird colours every few months.
There's a whole bunch of Nogaro blues, 4+ purple, 2+ light green, beige, a few off-yellows, the whole spectrum, really, that I've seen over the years.
On the german Wiki there's even one that's supposedly painted in a BMW colour from the factory though I can't find the source on that right now.
(The list, I guess isn't exactly up to date due to copyright on random sale pictures of these cars)

Headliner for OSS roofs
What's the rare accessory here, if I may ask? (Maybe the issue is in translation - sorry!)

I have one in my car? and the shades for the rear door as well?
Evening Duncan,

Please do share pictures. I have secured the rear door blinds but still yet to collect hem. Hopefully they’re still available. I’m quite interested in seeing a close up of the rear blind to understand how bit is attached. It could be my next search item, although possibly never getting to fruition.

Kind regards,

Tom

Securing items onto the rear trim. Although I have seen the mess left after someone used it to secure the jack and wheel brace as they did not want to have to remove the fold flat tyre to get under the floor if they wanted to change a wheel.
