Glove box lugs and clips - what are they for?

Sorting out the glove box today and I was intrigued as to what the 2 lugs and the clip on the right hand side of the open door are for.

As for the little plastic rack above the open door, that must be what other threads refer to as the coin holder (I bet it only takes Euros!!)

Hi Alan. You´re right. it´s a coin holder . I grinded the "steps" off and custom-made the ideal space for my ipod there with velcro. Can send pics when i find them.
The plastic flap I use to fix a little amount of A2OC pocket flyers always ready
