Glove box side panel

The plastic panel on the left of the glove box has been loose and rattling since I purchased the car. Today I pulled it off to try and work out how it should be fitted.
I assume the double sided foam tape is a previous attempt to repair and refit the panel?
How should it be secured, are there plastic lugs missing that should fit through the three rows of slots on the dash chassis?
If so can anyone sell me an unbroken one?

Yes looks as though someone has been there before.Looks like the only thing you can do is remove that number plate fixing tape and get some good two pack glue

Thanks. Was is originally all one piece? Araldite or something that will be a bit less brittle when set?

Yes....It was originally all one piece, well audi plastic welded again.Looks as if some numpty has pulled that panel off at some point, for a pointless reason

I've seen this before on my first A2. A previous owner had used white bathroom sealant to "glue" it back on.?

Pratley Powda Bond Super Glue seems to be recommended for automotive plastic so will give that a go.
I was hoping to get hold of some Kolorbond Vinylkote Formula 40 to colour the armrests. I see Halfords are advertising something similar for £9.99 a can. Does anyone have any experience with either of these products?

hot glue works very well :) been there done that, but you gotta be fairly quick after the glue is applied
