Iain, my advice would be to maybe do all the things I didn’t and, maybe a couple I did.
You’ve had yours painted so I imagine they’ll be in good shape but mine had a couple of buckles so I had some extra washers and stainless screws on hand. The Audi trim fitting ones weren’t long enough for the side trims in the arches so have some 25-30mm screws for there.
The front and rear parts clip on and hold themselves in place no problem, the sides need help to stay up so a friend is good (I lacked one of these so struggled and made a bit of a mess with the Tigerseal on the trim. I squirted it along the bottom of the top edge in the hope it would squish downward but it brushed the body. A quick rub with ipa removed it.
You need wheels off - I had to do two at a time but all four would be better. This is just to screw in the wheel arches - I maybe could have managed with a little ratchet but don’t thinks so.
I stuck them on with Tigerseal and put the screws in then put packing tape tightly across the kit and into the door arches with some rags to fill the gaps - particularly at the rear door - then closed all the doors so they pushed on the tape and held the kit really tight against the sides of the car then left it a few days. I used isopropyl to dissolve the glue residue when I removed the tape.
When it was warm I fixed the undersides so that they could flex into place. The side skirts I used a couple of large washers and fixing screws instead of what I presume are the original fixings (which are in the right place)
Mine was a bit of a mess and I’ll be busy with sanding and skim filler and paint to get t looking right but my paint is already pretty rough. Your car is in much better shape so I image you’ll be a lot more careful than me.
I also sealed the jacking point covers in place and bought a new jack. Better safe than sorry.
Good luck.
