Golf GTi front seats in an A2

I’ve been offered a set of heated Golf GTI seats in beige for an absolute bargain price.
The interior looks to be the same colour as my twist, I’m guessing that I would have to use the A2 seat runners but does anyone know if they will physically fit or are they too wide

Yes they will fit. You will need to make brackets to fit the golf runners onto the right mounting points for the A2.

You can also weld the Golf seats to the A2 brackets but this is more involved.

EDIT: can I just check that these are Golf Mk4 items.

Don't they look nice :) Twist is a lot darker than you think when you look at it in isolation outside the car, the leather is almost a mushroom colour. Hard to tell from the light in the photo, but those seats do look quite blonde. But good luck with them if you do take a punt, you can always recolour if you need to ?
