got my cam belt done, £100 labour !

hello all, just got my cam belt done also waterpump on my a2 tdi 04 with 49,000 on it, i bought all genuine parts, had the luck of getting in touch with an audi mechanic who does foreigners, glad thats out the way,

hi there, i live in the midlands near walsall, he said if i know anyone else hes up for doing more, cam belts

What are the chances of that. We're in Walsall too and currently looking for quotes for the same work. Did you buy the parts yourself and get him to do the work or get the parts through him too?

What was the total cost inc. parts?

I got mine done at a great local garage for just over £200, saving about £200! Very pleased!
