Very impressed with my new motors frugality on fuel

As a few of you on here know I purchased my A2 1.4TDI SE on Monday 14th April, when I picked it up it almost immediately beeped at me and the petrol warning light flashed, I put £20.02 of fuel in just over 14 litres at £1.42.9 per litre it was a motorway service station, I am very pleased to say that 10 days later I am still running on that £20 quids worth having covered 231.2 miles and the warning light has just come on and beeped at me..
Sticking those figures into http://www.fuel-economy.co.uk/calc.html it has given me an average MPG figure that I am very pleased with, considering its been commuting and some longer runs to family etc..
Your real-world MPG average is 75.02, covering 231.2 miles using 3.08 gallons of fuel

I do have a frugal driving style I must admit but even I was surprised at just how fuel efficient this little diesel engine is! :D

Congratulations. I get just under 200 miles for the same quantity of fuel. Theese cars are great for fuel economy, hence the reason why most people hold onto them.

The A2 is fantastic for fuel economy.
I recently had a Peugeot RCZ (1.6l, GT model) to drive in England and the difference was astounding. It used over 40l from London to Birmingham and back to Buckinghamshire!
I was appalled at how much more it used than my A2. After refuelling I stopped using cruise control and found it improved a bit but it was still awful for a modern and aerodynamic (looking) car!
For less than half that amount of fuel I drove my A2 1.2tdi from Tromso to Muonio. I did the drive back 360km or so and arrived with more than a third of my 20l tank left!

88.3 mpg, couldn't be happier! Shout out to Timmus for the display and cruise upgrade.
Is that calculation accurate, have you been able to manually confirm it yet?
Which engine and gearbox do you have?
Keep up the hyper milein!

Im getting 600 miles to 620 miles out of a full SE tank tdi AMF without trying too much and using cruise a lot. think thats about 69-70MPG. NO undertray either...
