Jeremy Kyle placed a bet on the Cheltenham Gold Cup, on the second favourite, Exotic Dancer, to win.

The horse comes in second.

What's the joke?

His stake was £5000!

And yes, it's true, I'm working with him at the moment.

Betting is one of his weaknesses - he bought a greyhound last year for £20k and so far it's not repaid anywhere near his stake.

Mind you, he's not exactly on a pittance of a wage - my guess is about £3k per show, or £9k per day.
