Had it 2 weeks!!!

Had the A2 1.6 FSI Sport for two weeks now. It is the wife's car and so far she loves it!! Only a couple of problems that I wonder if anyone could help me with.

1. The ash tray will not stay shut it goes in and out fine but won't stay shut!
2. I seem to have some condensation under the boot floor!

Apart from that so far so good great fun to drive although not as quick as my Civic Type R!!!

Hi mate,I've had mine nearly a week now and I'm loving mine too
Have you got used to the engine yet?Mine feels strange when I get between 2500-3000 rpm.I agree with you about the speed,I had a Renaultsport clio before and I'm missing my 5k kick!

There is a latch in the roof of the ashtray at the back which holds it shut, my spring needed clipping back in as it wouldn't spring open, see this thread for details of how to get the ashtray out, or just take the car back!

re. the condensation - check the bottom of your boot. I found condensation underneath the rear seats and then a pint or two of water sloshing around the boot - sorted out under warranty - a grommit needed sealing behind the bumper.
