Hand Brake/Cover

Hello again.

Since i have had my A2 I have noticed a a tear all along the top of the handbrake cover. It looks to me that the previous owner has had the cover off (by cutting it) then gluing it back on. Seems he's made a tidy job of it, but as you can imagine the tear isn't very pretty.

I decided to check VAG parts out first, but it just seems to me all too expensive for a little cover.

Ok so £40 for an official audi part, I can imagine it's reasonable, but being a student i just cant afford that kind of product. Does anyone know of a good, cheap place where i could get a handbrake cover? Perhaps second hand official part, or even an after-market product that will fit.

VagParts only show the leather covered handbrake grip. There is also a plastic version which still looks OK but is about £7 from an Audi dealer.
We regularly get asked about a good source of second hand parts but unfortunately there is none. Its just a case of scouring e.bay and the breakers yards
