Handbrake Cable Group Orders

Evening all,

Here are all the group order relevant posts from Steve handbrake cable thread. This has been provided to maintain the flow of the original thread whilst we all add our interest here for Rick @Rickmeister to selflessly supply us with what we desire.

I'll build the lists later on this evening. Of note, I'm here just conducting assistance as this is a Rick's and Ian's @in9999 venture. Rick is going to send the order to Ian, who will distribute to everyone here in the UK.

Whilst the registered interest is extracted to build the lists, I'll also try to tidy it up without ruining the flow of this new thread.

Update for today. Post going out and reimbursements coming back in. Everything seems to be ticking over nicely.

Many thanks to @tipomark for helping with the UK distro. Members have emails with proof of post sent individually this morning.

Remember, it's Euros, friends and family please and everyone wins here. Trust makes it work and so far, so good. Remember too that the post untracked can be quite slow, 10-14 days sometimes.

When this is completed, we can crack on with groups 3 + 4 together but I'll let you know when we are fine to move on.
 
Now fully reimbursed and all items posted, thanks for completing this swiftly. Remember, the untracked post can be slow at 10 - 14 days. Its never a rush with anything from AT to the UK.
Stand by groups 3 and 4 as I think I will order these together. Information to follow.

Hi Tom,

Thanks to you, Rick and the other A2OC members who are supporting members like this - my tdi 90 is happily wearing the alarm de-couple switch that was another initiative.

Could you please add me to the list for a handbrake cable? I think the tdi 75 is going to need a set.

Got an advisory on my MOT for offside rear outer handbrake cover deteriorated, I guess that means I should be added to the list.

So, groups 3 and 4.
Please read it all and I suggest this as a next step for the cable group buy.

As we have had so many cables now the shared post for 20 cables is €6 so I just round up to the nearest Euro on each cable.
I can say with some certainty that each one is €55 to me in Germany.
If you want individual, untracked onward post direct to you, it is an additional €13 . Post takes 10 days or so.
If you want individual tracked onward post direct, it is an additional €28 and a little faster 5 days or so.
A share of 5 or 6 together, tracked with a member doing UK distribution is €6 + the UK bit, but you do have the collect option in the UK.
I can post single or as a bundle of 5 or 6 as that's the size of box I can get easily and smaller bundles are more manageable.

20 cables is €1100 plus postage. Not a problem, the last order was €1300. This time I ask for members to pre-pay to Paypal as it's easier for me to manage. AT ask me to use PayPal to purchase for you and I don't have to shuffle between my bank and Paypal. If you are uncomfortable with that I can understand and no problem if you would rather not go ahead.

So, order deadline Thursday 24th.
Members state what they want and transfer to PayPal before I order. I place the order and everyone is mailed a copy of the AT invoice as proof.

Help me manage my inbox! First step:
Mail me on [email protected] subject titled Cable 3 and 4 and include your forum name, number of cables, choice of post.
I'll reply to each one to acknowledge your request.
I'll put another spreadsheet together and order on Thursday 24th.

Cut off time for groups 3 and 4, 8pm CET / 7pm GMT this evening.
I'll only order for those people who have been in touch, PP'ed me and have had a response from me directly to confirm.
