Hard start and power loss

Hey,
Could use some of your wisdom.
Problems started after a longer trip. Everything was fine during it.

Next morning I had to crank it for about 15 seconds, before it started. Then I noticed sudden power loss. Goes to 2000rpm in every gear, but very slowly. Engine is as smooth as it was before.
Starts not that hard now, but not as good as before. (cranking for 2-3 seconds)
Power loss is still here.
Where to check first? I guess it's the LIMP mode protecting the engine. But what about the starting issue which appeared along side?

Thanks for help as always

Cam and crank sensors have been linked to this in the past as has air in the fuel line IIRC. Have you access to Vcds?

Full VCDS scan and post results here. Block out any sensitive data before you post it. But tending towards fuel filter also.

probably fuel filter, one valve seal
50697
on top of the filter

I guess it's not the fuel filter. Here are the scan results:

50713

The interesting thing is that my EGR is blanked with a plate and never showed anything EGR related on previous scans. Any ideas?

Damn, can't say it now. All we did today was a scan and split afterwards. Could the G40 be the culprit for other errors? We suspect that the N75 is the culprit for other errors

check for as split or loose vacuum pipe around the anti shudder and egr solenoid, also check all electrical connections .

Basically after driving the g40 error shows up again, but those 3 faults always show up. Even after clearing them. After testing those they show resistance in the norms, we suspect that those 3 are still good. Contacts look good, valves look good too. We think it's purely electrical, because they show the errors always when scanned

you may have solve this, but have you look at the engine control fuse? its s10 on a circuit diagram 10 amp fuse located in the passenger footwell next to the ecu, if that is blowed it would take out the flap motor, egr, turbo (n75 valve) and g40 camshaft senor, all on the same circuit (if on atl 90 bhp)

Thanks, i'll check it out. Dunno actually how we solved it. I guess it solved itself. Limp mode still comes up after pushing it too hard, but everything else came back to normal after disconnecting reconnecting everything several times
