headlight bulb retaining clip???

hi guys,
could anyone tell me if the A2 retaining clip for a dipped H7 bulb is the same as that on the A4? audi will not sell these clips individually for the A2, but they will sell me a complete replacement headlight!!! i said i'd have a think about it.
 
If you're talking about the wire holding the actual bulb in to its socket, then I'd say yes, they will be the same as an A4 H7, although I don't think you'll have much more luck in sourcing an A4 clip from a dealer!

thanks mike. mr spares counter said he could get said clip for the A4, but was not sure about compatibility.
 
Probably off a wrecked unit in for repair.

Even of it isn't exactly the same, I'm sure you can mod it to fit.
