headlight bulbs

Now then....I've got small hands (no jokes pls) and the only way I could manage to change my headlight bulbs was to remove the headlight

Is it me or is this the norm?

Don't worry, it's pretty normal (and easier) to change the bulbs by taking the headlamp out completely..

Next time, let the dealer do the job. You only have to pay (ask before) the price for the bulb itself.

Unfortunately, the pictures seem to have mysteriously vanished - this may be a result of the latest software upgrade though. Is this the case Ben?

Just two bolts removes the head lamp one on the top and the other just to the side towards the grille

Easy to remove as above. You should be able to get the bulbs in without disconnecting the wiring at the back of the lamp unit.

VAG seem to be making their cars less owner servicable. Even a bulb change requires surgery.
