Headlight Height Adjustment

I like many others on here have found that the headlights arent up to much, ive replaced the bulbs with more powerful ones but still find that although they are much brighter the beam pattern just isnt high enough.
Does anyone know what headlight adjuster on the lamp unit adjusts the vertical height ?

there are two nylon adjusters on each light unit (main and dip are locked together) the nylon adjusters nearer the middle of the car adjust up/down.
The adjusters nearer the cars wing adjust left and right.
hope that helps.
The above information is incorrect, I was given what I thought was correct information from a mobile mechanic. The correct is the reverse of the above. ie
the correct info is below.

headlight beam height / angle adjustment

I've just adjusted the headlight beam height on my A2 using the advice given by emr66 above. My headlights wouldn't adjust high enough to illuminate anything but a short distance in front of the car which I thought was dangerous.
I've attached a picture to help. As per the previous post, the hex adjusters closest to the centre of the car do left / right. The ones closest to the outside of the car do up / down.

My experience is that the adjustment range on the A2 is quite good. Are the bulbs correcly seated in their housings? Double check that the height adjustment is set to "0" inside the car. Some of the aftermarket HID-kits could also cause the beam to go bananas. If you adjust the beam height from inside the car, do the beam move at all?

thanks Xiter but all OK now, all adjustments from inside were possible, its just that they were all too low - someone must have adjusted them down on the headlight unit in the past. I did sit the bulbs in incorrectly initially (nearside headlamp retaining torx bolt just spinning so I had to do this one 'blind' in-situ using the offside as a guide). No HID, just new Philips X-treme power bulbs which seem to have made a decent improvement although this could of course be due to the fact that the beam is pointing in the right direction now!
