Wow! And I thought I had some work to do! I'm doing intercooler, oil and filter, thermostat and coolant and pollen filter. Good luck with the remaining jobs

Job done 8hrs 1 if them getting the wheels off!! I had to use a massive breaker bar you'd NEVER have got them undone on the side of the road with that poxy wheel brace some **** had wound them on with a windy gun not torqued them up. Also new oil / and filter and new thermostat and coolant. Bit of a day but all done rides fine no limp mode either thanks to everyone's help on here

I agree with this, as soon as you get a car or get back from tyre fitters check your bolts. Despite mine having full Audi History the bolt threads were really rusty on the front and the rear wheels fused to the drums. Had to slacken off nuts and drive around our Close to get them freed. Now the bolts have a thin cost of copper grease as do the wheel hub centres, so no more problems.

Getting tyres fitted to my new alloys on Wednesday and will be fitting them to the car myself with a torque wrench.

Whenever ive had tyres fitted at my local garage they always advise that I return after about 50 miles to have the nuts re torqued just to be on the safe side.

I just nip mine up with a good amount of pressure on the brace supplied so I know I can get the ******s out on the side of the road should I need to! Also I had to kick the wheel a hell of a lot to free it off... Literally can't believe how tight they were I had to get part of an accrow on the end of a breaker bar and she went crack! I thought I'd broken the stud.. Silly tight
