Hello . i.am having problems already!! I recently replaced the battery on my A2 and then found out my remote central locking does not work and if I unlock the car with the key the hazard lights come on and will not go off until I start the car engine. Any ideas about what has happened would be greatly appreciated . thanks B .

I would try unlocking the drivers door by putting the key into the lock and then start the engine. Turn it off and try the key fob again...it normally works for me.

Cheers

Dave.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

If you get completely stuck, there is a hidden lever.

Open the boot. Behind the offside rear light cluster, there is a lever to open the fuel flap.

Someone else will be able to advise on the repair. I remember my switch in the driver's door had an intermittent problem and usually I could press and depress it in a few times to free it.

Good luck

Hilary

As Dave has stated turn ignition on (no need to start engine just switch to see all lights on the dash) ignition off and press a button to re sequence the remote.

failing that it may need diagnostics but as it worked before this should be fine. Petrol flap button only works with door open.
