Could some one please help, ive been losing sleep like crazy over how much this problem might cost me

my audi sympony no longer works, it all lights up but none of the buttons work, friday evening i turned the radio off on the drive home, saturday morning i found that whilst the car was locked the audi symphony was all lit up, it now sunday and the lights still wont turn off.

any help will be great!

oh man i really hope its a free fix, im going through a crsis with debt at the moment

i dont really understand whats in the link, should i remove a fuse, if so which one?

it seems to be suggesting that the fuses are the wrong way round when I read it. That the 10A fuse may not be enough for the Symphony system ? We have a few tekkies on here that will be along soon to give a comprehensive answer.

I hope its a quick fix for you :) always makes for feel good when what feels like a big problem can be fixed quite easily.

i just went to have a look at the fuse box, theres a 15amp fuse in the instrument cluster (top left?) and underneath that is the radio cluster (correct?) theres no fuse in it at all even though my radio has been fine since i bought the car? i can seem to get that fuse out of the instrument cluster either (dont know how)

thanks

good news i took out the radio fuse, put it back in and all is fine,

however i now have an engine management warning light on at the the moment, car seem fine to drive still, no change in petrol consumption power seems normal

what could it be and how much is it going to cost to rectify this problem??

There's nothing to go on really. As always, a diagnostic scan is the way forward, if you are ever near Manchester, I would be glad to help out.

Cheers,

Mike
